My name is Julia Shipley and I am a committed Christian worshiping and serving in my local church. I have a heart for young children and the youth believing the word of God is the final authority. I am a scripture believing Christian with a heart to see the young grow up to their full potential in God.
Time is at a premium. The pace of life is break neck speed. God has given you and I the responsibility of a precious gift. Children.
Have you ever been asked to take Sunday School at the last minute? With no time to prepare any Sunday school lesson and very little time to put it all together. Are you a busy parent teaching your children God’s basic values?
Today’s society makes that difficult with computer games and television which in-still selfishness and greed. Coupled with school curriculum teaching evolution, God’s principles are further undermined. I started to think and pray about what could be done to counteract this and at the same time help busy parents and teachers. Parents needed something they can build into everyday activities. Giving them an opportunity to talk about God’s core values. Teachers need Bible stories and activities instantly to hand.
Searching the Internet
Searching the Internet and looking off line was quite bewildering. There is a lot of Sunday school material, but that was the problem. There was so much and in various locations.
I found myself spending many hours looking and searching when all I needed was something quick and easy. A variety of materials to teach Bible stories ready to download in minutes.
We live in an instant society. Why not harness this to our advantage? What was wrong in having a variety of materials that was useful for school, home or Sunday School? Something that give's instant access to a number of Bible stories, bible lessons, activities, crafts, colouring pages etc. and so was born Quick Christian Resources.
